To mark the 10th anniversary of the Connecting Europe Facility programme, the flagship EU funding instrument for energy infrastructure in Europe, the CINEA issued a digital publication presenting the program's key achievements.

On Tuesday, June 4, ELES received the plaque of the national winner of the Energy Globe award for the successful implementation of the SINCRO.GRID. The Energy Globe Award is a well-established global award that rewards projects that significantly contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection.

CINEA presented Connecting Europe Facility Projects in the publication Energy 2023: Latest achievements and way forward.

On Thursday, 19. October, we presented the project's results at the ELES's strategic conference.

The Energy Storage Awards ceremony was held yesterday in London to reward excellence and hard work in the European industry. In the »Grid Operator Project of The Year« category, ELES was awarded for installing battery energy storage systems within the SINCRO.GRID project.

On Friday, 25 May, colleagues from HOPS and HEP ODS presented the SINCRO.GRID project at the Croatian CIGRE webinar on Experiences in implementing and developing smart grid projects.

Project coordinator Simon Tot participated in the SET Trebinje conference. He spoke about the implementation of smart grids and presented the results of the first European project smart grid infrastructure project SINCRO.GRID. He also introduced the new PCI project GreenSwitch to the participants

The first PCI smart grid project results were presented at the international T&D World Magazin.
